Mit diesem außergewöhnlichen viertägigen SPIIC special event beschließen wir die erste Projektphase von SPIIC im Rahmen der Innovativen Hochschule / Stage_2.0
- bevor wir im kommenden Jahr unter dem Dach des LIGETI-Zentrums als Teil des artistic research lab unsere Exploration der Improvisation als kreative künstlerische und soziale Praxis fortsetzen.
Doch zuvor haben wir das große Glück, unsere großartigen internationalen SPIIC Gäste Lauren Newton (Stimme), Emmanuelle Pèpin (Tanz), Inés Pérez-Wilke (Tanz) und Koho Mori-Newton (Bildende Kunst) sowie gleichzeitig das Monash Animated Notation Ensemble (MANE) aus Australien zu Gast an der HfMT zu haben. Nichts lag also näher, als unsere kreativen Kräfte zu vereinen und uns auf eine gemeinsame trans-disziplinäre Spurensuche auf das Terrain zwischen Improvisation und Komposition zu begeben. Über vier Nachmittage hinweg werden die Ensembles ins gemeinsame Spiel und einen kreativen Austausch kommen. Dabei werden wir auch die Gelegenheit bekommen, die besonderen künstlerischen Ansätze und Arbeitsmethoden unserer Gäste in Form von kurzen Präsentationen und Workshops kennenzulernen. Am Freitag Abend werden wir die Ergebnisse unserer Zusammenarbeit in konzertant-performativer Form präsentieren.

With this extraordinary four-day SPIIC special event we conclude the first project phase of SPIIC in the framework of the Innovative University / Stage_2.0
- before we continue our exploration of improvisation as a creative artistic and social practice next year under the umbrella of the LIGETI center as part of the artistic research lab.
But before that, we are very fortunate to have our great international SPIIC guests Lauren Newton (voice), Emmanuelle Pèpin (dance), Inés Pérez-Wilke (dance), and Koho Mori-Newton (visual arts), as well as the Monash Animated Notation Ensemble (MANE) from Australia as guests at HfMT at the same time. Nothing was more obvious than to unite our creative forces and embark on a joint trans-disciplinary search for traces on the terrain between improvisation and composition. Over the course of four afternoons, the ensembles will get to play together and engage in a creative exchange. We will also have the opportunity to get to know the special artistic approaches and working methods of our guests in the form of short presentations and workshops. On Friday evening we will present the results of our collaboration in concert-performative form.

Die Workshops sind für Studierende aller Fachbereiche sowie interessiertes Publikum zur passiven Teilnahme offen. Ein- und Auslass sind jeweils zur vollen Stunde (14/15/16/17 Uhr) möglich.
SPIIC wird im Rahmen von Stage_2.0 in der Bund-Länder-Initiative Innovative Hochschule durch das BMBF und die GWK gefördert.
