Roots and Routes: opening concert | blurred edges 2026

Wednesday 24.06.2026, 20:00 @ SENDER, Hamburg

Roots and Routes is a group exhibition accompanied by an opening concert.

The exhibition explores themes of memory, migration, poetry, and music. Artists, musicians, and composers based in Hamburg, Berlin, and Cologne work at the intersection of sound and image, bringing together composition, performance, and visual art.

How does a sonic landscape influence an image? How can memory take shape?

The exhibition presents the book and installation Notes with Pictures by Elena Khurgina, drawings and a sound installation by Dariya Maminova, the installation Located Nowhere / Seeds by Alina-Aljosha Anufrienko, and a performance with Pulsar Synthesis by Sasha Iliashenko.
